Description:

Black-stripe greenhood (Pterostylis melagramma), a small terrestrial greenhood orchid. The labelum (tongue) flips up when touched to hold the insect inside longer and make sure it gets fully covered in pollen.

Habitat:

Dry sclerophyl bushland.
