Red-Footed Tortoise

Chelonoidis carbonarius

Description:

Taking in a red-footed tortoise from a reptile rescue, red-footed tortoises are tropical tortoises along the lines of the yellow-footed tortoise. Red foots were the first tortoise species that I realized were omnivorous and it kinda blew my mind when I was little. Red foots are listed as Vulnerable by the IUCN.

Habitat:

Native to South America.
