Description:

The Eastern Bluebird is a small plump thrush with a short, straight black bill. The male is easily distinguished with his vivid deep blue above and a rusty red throat and breast.

Habitat:

Spotted this one on a fence post next to a canal off of the Cotton Bayou in Orange Beach, Alabama. Their was some thicket cover nearby.
