Description:

Typical skimmer draonfly, but with reduced brown markings on wings.

Habitat:

Along a berm through mostly evaporated salt pan at southern edge of the Great Salt Lake.

Notes:

My wife, Heidi, spotted this one, an uncommon species with an odd distribution in the western U.S.
