Common Bird's Nest Mushroom

Description:

Very tiny little mushrooms that look just like their name, "Bird's nest" The little cup nests look like they have little tiny eggs in them. The eggs hold the spores.

Not according to that source, which is a pretty reliable one. I would be comfortable saying it is Crucibulum laeve if there are cords though

Too funny. I still had the nests I picked and they are really dry and hard. I thought they all had those cords?

Ok so I think I narrowed it down to the genus Crucibulum. Either Crucibulum laeve or Crucibulum parvulum. I don't know if I can be certain either way unless you still have them and can check if there are "tiny cords that attach the eggs to the nest," in which case they would be
