Turk's Cap Lily

Lilium martagon

Description:

Turk's cap lily has a widespread native region extending from eastern France east through northern Asia to Mongolia and Korea. It appears in regions with cold temperatures. It is also named as Lily of Istanbul, Sultan Lily or Dragon Lily.

Notes:

Numerous flowers are borne on each plant and up to 50 can be found on vigorous plants.

That's great! I thought it would be L.martagon, but wasn't sure because there's no pictures of whole plant :)

They sure are I agree ^_^ These were arranged with multiple flowers on one stem. I also think they are Lilium martagon. I just looked some pictures up and the flowers and their position on the stem look exactly like the ones I photogrpahed.

They are beautiful, are these flowers in inflorescence or there are single flowers on stem? This looks to me like flowers of Lilium martagon...

Sadly I don't. I already had some trouble taking these shots because it was getting dark, so I just went with what I could photograph :)
