Medium-sized dragonfly with boldly-patterned wings. Unmistakable.

Habitat:

Found in a narrow riparian corridor through an otherwise degraded shortgrass prairie habitat with yucca, prickly-pear cacti, sunflowers.

Notes:

This represents a state record of the species for Colorado, and a significant northern range extension.
