Description:

This is a relatively newly described specie, only in 2003. Its body is totally goldish in color including its eyes. Mantis Shrimp packed one of the strongest punch in the world, equivalent to the acceleration of a 0.22 calibre bullet. They uses this to punch or spear their prey. The impact is strong enough to break even the glass of underwater camera housing. Mantis shrimps has one of the most elaborate visual systems, with up to 16 photoreceptors and can see UV.
