Leafcutter bee

Description:

Solitary bee species and efficient pollinators of alfalfa, carrots and other fruits and veggies. These bees feed on pollen and nectar.

Habitat:

We've had this little bug hotel for over a year and only now the residents are moving in! I was very lucky to spot this little bee going about its work to line its nest with leaves! :)
