Hello laurarose.mcgee97,
Welcome to Project Noah.
Your firsts potting is exquisite...a very pretty moth indeed.
This is a site to post wildlife photos (no pets or zoo photos, please) taken by you. In case you already know the name of the species you have photographed...go right ahead and fill in the boxes. The Suggestion box is for others to give you names in case you need help with identification. In case you agree with the suggestion, use the Edit option (under the photo on the screen) and input the information so that the spotting is complete. Also, please fill in where you saw the species...not what books say about where it is found. Each spotting gets its own page! Even if it is the same species taken on different days.
Enjoy the site..and I will see you around Good luck with more spottings!
Welcome to Project Noah, Laura. This is a beautiful first spotting. I've never seen one of these moths before, although I'm down in Brisbane so am probable too far south of it's range.
