Nature School For Teachers - Fall 2020 Launch!
Spotted in Gunung Gede national park.
Found matching images as "Epilachna admirabilis" - but this seems to be a wrong ID:https://www.researchgate.net/figure/2630...Epilachnini are a difficult group . . . and I fear we cannot even give genus level IDs from photos in future, after I have read this:https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2765...
Okay bayucca I've changed it back to just the genus.
Dan, we maybe have to go back to Epilachna sp. or Epilachna cf. indica:http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/160...
Thanks for the ID bayucca.
Coccinellidae, Coccinellinae, Epilachnini, Epilachna sp. and rather Epilachna indica than Epilachna admirabilis, which would usually have much larger spots:http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ndEKR28-M_g/UJ...http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-gAtoVEpg0sI/U4...
