A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Pieris brassicae
Both pairs of wings are white on the upper side. The wingtip is black. In females, there are also two round black spots in the outer part of the forewing and an elongated line along the trailing edge. The underside of the hind wing is yellow-gray without a clear rib pattern.
The species is found in various localities, and often on road slopes.
