Erinnyis oenotrus
Some type of Sphinx...I get lots of them...Found it in the fence of my house in the daytime but resting.
Gallery Forest. 900 Meters-3000 feet above sea level, next to Tanaca National Park, a Pasture , and in a Garden with Endemic trees, plants and flowers of Costa Rica.
Note the reddish, double-lined bow and yellowish patch on the forewing. I could see these markings only in Oenotrus.
Thank you so much bayucca...What do you think about this one? the jagged wings are so familiar when I was looking at it....? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erinnyis_o...
