Eudesmia menea
I think this could be a Day flying Moth?!
Thank you so much for the information, bayucca.
My garden is thriving with Butterflies and Skippers right now, it is rainy season here, I have not seen many Moth and perhaps I won't be able to contribute much to "Moth Week"
Gilma, there are no day moths, but day-flying moths and many of the moths are actually diurnal (some strict day-flying) or flying during the last period or frist of lights, depending on the family and genus. You may observe that there is a period in the night where almost no moths are flying (I don't exactly know when and it is also depending on clima, weather and location). Moth Week is an excellent opportunity to find out more about these flying periods.
Erebidae, Arctiinae, Lithosiini, Eudesmiina, Eudesmia menea.
