Description:

The size of this bee is small . The common nesting sites : logs , tree trunks .

Habitat:

Spotted in Udupi , Karnataka , India .

Notes:

Spotted this species in last summer , near my vicinity . They built their hives in between the wooden logs , and were not agressive towards us when we tried to shift them .

maradithayamb, as a couple of us have suggested before, we would like to see some information about your specimens. Habitat would be good - please do not delete subheadings.
Your spottings are interesting and we'd like to learn from them. Also, one of the project's aims is to assist researchers with collecting ecological data. So, please complete your spottings with where you found them, size of specimen and any personal experience relating to the spotting that might be of interest to the reader. Thanks.
