Description:

Common brown butterfly, female, The females have much darker patches on their wings, while the males have a more broken and lacy black on orange pattern.

Habitat:

Mixed dry sclerophyll bush and native grasslands, and domestic gardens.

Notes:

This is the first female I've seen this Summer.
