Choreutis lutescens
A very tiny (5 - 10 mm TL) metalmark moth so named from the metalic scales which create a distinct "mark" on the wings (not so clearly seen in this specimen, but see ahttp://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/401386023 for comparison). This group of moths (family Choreutidae) occurs worldwide.
Observed on goldfussia (Strobilanthes sp.) in a large semi-urban yard & garden near a disturbed remnant patch of forest in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
