Chlorophyllum molybdites Mass.
Green-spored lepiota is a large, white mushroom with broad, buff scales over center, free white gills maturing gray-green and ring on stalk. Poisonous. Found in lawns, pastures, meadows, often in fairy rings.
These two green-spored lepiota were spotted in a cow meadow which is surrounded by a fence and unable to get close enough to get underside of mushroom. There were several others way out in the field.
