Pandora Sphinx Moth

Eumorpha pandorus

Description:

A pandora sphinx moth a friend of mine found and brought to me. It's part of the hawk moth family, Sphingidae.

Notes:

This species is remarkably similar to an Asian moth, the Oleander Hawk Moth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oleander_Ha...). An interesting quirk!

Isn't that cool? Actually, I should update the notes on this one and add that information.
