The main link above and the once more added link below indicates the reports from South Africa. The Vestal is almost a "global" moth.

Bayucca the strange thing is that all the locations do not include South Africa as a host country

Geometridae, Sterrhinae, Rhodometra sacraria.
The typical pose and the veins and spot let me think of Rhodometra sacraria rather then this one:
That one would have the end of the stripe not at the apex of the wing but slightly laterally at the apex.
