Splendid Spider Orchid

Caladenia splendens

Description:

Endemic to Western Australia. One of the largest endemic Spider Orchids of WA. Stalk is about 45cm tall. Flower is white with some red/purple on the labellum. Pic #3 shows the resident Crab Spider.

Habitat:

Dry eucalypt forest of Marri and Jarrah.
