Chloroclystis insigillata
A handsome pale grey geometrid moth with thin black, grey and white lines. On each fore-wing this moth appears to have a swirl of tufted greenish-grey hairs in the middle of the costal margin, suggesting that this is a male moth. On the underside of the wing and corresponding with each of the costal tufts, is a black pattern. http://www.boldsystems.org/index.php/Tax... Wing span was about 20 mm.
Seen near a sports field surrounded by native trees.
