Hundreds of Snow Geese taking flight
Saw this on the way to my cousins wedding
The first time I saw all of them I thought they were swans too. I was lucky enough that a local was there taking photos who was able to inform my parents and I (who were taking me to see the tulips for my first time) what we were seeing. :-)
I believe those are actually Snow Geese which migrate through here during certain times of the year. For example, they are known for being seen in Skagit Valley during tulip season.
