Quiver tree / kokerboom

Aloe dichotoma

Notes:

The name "quiver tree'' comes from the use of the plants branches by bushmen people of old to house their arrows in. These fotos were taken at gannabos near Nieuwoudtville, one of the few spontanious forests of Aloe dichotoma.
