Description:

The Woodhouse's Toad, (Bufo woodhousii) is a medium-sized (4 inches or 10 centimetres) true toad

Habitat:

They frequent a great variety of habitats, but seem to prefer sandy areas.

Notes:

Native to the United States and Mexico Like most toads, they are most active in the evenings towards the end of sunset. They will be most active when it is misty or rainy and during the breeding period which is from March - July, depending on locality.
