Description:

Metallic blue wasp body length ranges from10 to 15 mm.Commonly known as cuckoo wasps, the hymenopteran family Chrysididae is a very large cosmopolitan group of parasitoid or kleptoparasitic wasps, often highly sculptured, with brilliantly colored metallic-like bodies.

Habitat:

Commonly found on flower and vegetable gardens. On the forest it usually hangs out early morning among wild flowers and trees.
