Austral Dripping Bonnet

Roridomyces austrororidus

Description:

These beautiful viscid small bonnet fungi had convex pale brown caps about 10 mm wide. Gills were distant white and decurrent. Stipes were white and covered with mucilage.

Habitat:

Gregarious on damp rotting eucalyptus log in a nature reserve.

Notes:

This species is seen in New Zealand, South America and Australia.
