"We loved the atmosphere in this shot of a Barred Owl (Strix varia) hunting at dusk. The Barred Owl is native to eastern North America, and is a generalist predator with a diet consisting mainly of small mammals. It hunts at night, but sometimes can be observed hunting before dark as seen here".
