Low growing tree. Grey, lined, twisted bark. Simple leaves are ovate with smooth edge.
Found growing at Camp Floyd State Park, UT. Growing near historic home. Almost certainly planted on purpose. Small creek running approx 50 yds away.
Tried looking through many guides to identify.
