Description:

About 12mm long. Fairly inactive maybe due to an unusually cold day.

Habitat:

In a local nature reserve on the leaves of Acacia dealbata (silver wattle)

Notes:

Visually similar to rove beetles (Staphylinidae) but these are a different family (Melyridae).
