Description:

Large hoverfly mimicking a bee, up to 16 mm, with a large pterostigma on the wings and the abdomen's end very dark while in the first two segments it shows yellow marks. The body is hairy and the legs black.

High mountain. Pine tree forest. Parque Nacional de Sierra de Guadarrama
