Description:

Grow to a full length of 18cm, brown back & orange belly. Active mainly at night & eats insects & insect eggs.

Habitat:

Common in NSW & QLD, Eastern Australia. This one was found in compost near Brisbane QLD

Notes:

Only one of its species. Has dual reproduction habits, producing young via eggs in coastal populations & live young in colder mountain regions.
