Sea turtle

Habitat:

Playa Ostional is valuable to sea turtles because it has a slight incline ending in a platform and an estuary, which is important because the exchange of nutrients between the river and the sea are used by the returning sea turtles to recognize the beach.

Notes:

may be Olive Ridley turtle, which are the most common on this beach.
