White-lined Sphinx Moth

Description:

Moth approx 2.5 cm long. dark brown fore-wings with bands of tan and a stripe of white running along the middle. Hind wings are pink/orange in color. antennae are not combed.

Habitat:

They can be found all over the US but this one was found eating dinner in a flower bed in Moab, UT.
