Description:

Similar to most inky caps, but this one lays down a shaggy "carpet" Seen in pictures one and three. Gills can be seen in picture four.

Habitat:

. Often growing on logs, the soil, and sometimes bathroom rugs.

Notes:

I see the carpet often, but rarely see the fruiting bodies.
