Bird Feather

Description:

Bird feather laying in the back yard area of a house. The house is near a small pond. There are no chickens, turkeys, geese or ducks or any other kind of birds being raised on the property. Maybe somebody can identify what kind of bird this feather came from.

Probably a hawk's feather. Red-shouldered, Red-tailed, Broad-winged, or Cooper's. Find out what species hangs out in you yard and it's probably the one this feather came from.
