Yes, we often spend a couple of days walking round public gardens and parks after seeing the sights wherever we go, looking for bird life, its surprising what we find sometimes.
Looks like a red-tailed to me, but there's a chance it could also be a Cooper's Hawk. I'm not really very good with my birds of prey, but maybe someone else can clarify?
