I think the weren't dead, i took them from a tide pool, they were moving..
so i think about the color it just the light..

Id say its likely a Spiny starfish - Marthasterias glacialis. A bit hard to tell because its dead and the colors and texture arent what they were. Its also possible it is a variation of a common sea star - Asterias rubens
