Mating Tiger Beetles

Long, hairy legs, had metallic green spots on its body.

Notes:

These two were distracted by certain other activities, allowing me to get a picture. I had seen single individuals flying around all day, but couldn't get close enough to get a picture.

I had a professor who remarked about how many pictures of insects are taken while they're mating. But when that's the only time they'll stay still, you end up with a disproportionate amount of mating pictures. It's even more true with tiger beetles, these things are quick!
