Description:

This mushroom had a very slimy cap and stem. Cap was brown and wrinkled, stem was white with a purple tint. Flesh was also tinted purple. This mushroom was 5-6cm tall.

Habitat:

Growing on the ground in a mostly deciduous forest. There were 3 growing in the same area.

Notes:

This is the first spotting of a mushroom from the Cortinarius collinitus group on Project Noah.
