Females of the species are heavily have protective thorns and noticeable V patterns at the back around 3 inches. Males are a lot smaller and thinner by 1/3 of the females size. Solid brown, solid green and bi-coloration were noticed on the wild specimens.
Most of the specimen were noticed during night time and absent during the day on top of Sellaginela sp. and terrestrial ferns in the forest.
