Pandorus Sphinx Moth

Eumorpha pandorus

Late afternoon, near dusk, Pandorus Sphinx Moth on a cinder-block wall. Appears that its wings may not be entirely dry. Spotting includes closer shot of wings, back and side views. Females lay their eggs on wild grape vines and Virginia creeper ... we have plenty of both.
