tropical heath forest, 1000m
This spectacular plant is only found climbing trees in a few places of the tropical heath forest in the southern plateau in Maliau basin. A photo of this plant was used for the promotion of Maliau basin conservation area. I saw this photo 10 years ago when I first visited Malaysia and then I actually got to see it with my own eyes! Maliau basin is a magical area.
