Description:

There are 33 species of this beautiful flower across the northern hemisphere. The flower comes up early in the year, often through the snow and provide early bees and other insects their first taste of nectar. They have bluish/lavender flowers with yellow stamens.

Habitat:

Found in Arctic and mountain tundra.
