Lubber Grasshopper

Xyleus discoideus

Description:

grayish grasshopper with a crest from the back of its head

Habitat:

tropical forest, 1000m

Notes:

I spotted many grasshoppers and katydids in the forest around Ginger's Paradise near Bermejo. Some were near tame like this one and totally calm when I tried to get them on my hand.
