Bare eyed cockatoo/Little Corolla

Cacatua sanguinea

Description:

small to medium sized all white member of the cockatoo/parrot family

Habitat:

on the wires on a street in Alice springs

Notes:

The original photos were backlit and extremely dark. Lightened them up and I see a blueish grey eye ring(which I remember seeing) but the beak seems wrong for slender beaked corolla Although common and much unloved by the locals as "ugly" birds, we only saw them in Alice Springs and an hour or so outside Melbourne
