Feathertail Glider

Acrobates pygmaeus

Feathertail glider is one of the smallest marsupials in Australia. It catapults itself fearlessly off branches and stretches the membrane between its limbs so that it floats/glides to its' next perch.

Tall wet eucalypt forests with a good understory to glide from.
