Lorquin's Admiral

Limenits Lorquini

Description:

Looks similer to a Callifornia sister but if you notice the orange arias at the tips of it's wings you will see that they are forked rather then round all around as seen on a Callifornia sister.

Habitat:

Mountin forests, near streem.

Notes:

It was found puddling next to a streem at my campsite. I could not pinpoint the exact location, but I got it within five kilometers.

Beautiful! I am at an elevation where butterflies have not returned, yet. But this pic is wonderful.
