African Sacred Ibis

Threskiornis aethiopicus

Description:

It is about 75 cm (30 inches) long, white with black in its wings, and has dark plumes on the lower back and a bare black head and neck.

Habitat:

Threskiornithidae, which breeds in sub-Saharan Africa, southeastern Iraq, and formerly in Egypt. It has also been introduced into France, Italy, Spain, and the United States (S. Florida).
