Prairie Warbler

Setophaga discolor

Description:

This poor baby got caught in a spiderweb and fell on my porch! Small maybe 3 inches long on body. Yellow underbelly, grey on top. Beak like a sap eater with a long pointy tongue. I untangled its feet and let it go. It flew away to perch on a nearby wall.

Habitat:

West central Georgia
